Sun Certified System Administrator (SCSA) for Solaris Operating System
Overview
The Sun Certified System Administrator (SCSA) is aimed at system administrators tasked with performing essential system administration procedures on the Solaris Operating System (Solaris OS) and technical application support staff responsible for administering a networked server running on the Solaris OS. In this course you will gain an in depth knowledge of the Solaris OS including managing local disk devices, managing UFS file systems, installing and removing Solaris packages and patches, performing system boot procedures, software install, user and security administration, network printers and system processes, and system backups and restores. More advanced topics include configuring network interfaces, managing swap configurations, crash dumps, configuring NFS and AutoFS, managing storage volumes and ZFS file systems, configuring system messaging, setting up naming services, and managing Solaris Zones.
