The Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) credential enables professionals to target specific technologies and distinguish themselves by demonstrating in-depth knowledge and expertise in their specialized technologies. The MCTS: Windows Server specialisations cover three certifications relating to Server 2008 and one certification relating to Server 2003.
The Windows Server 2008: Active Directory Configuration certification provides you with the required knowledge and skills in Active Directory and Directory Services, Active Directory Server Roles, Certificate Management, and Group Policy using Windows Server 2008.
The Windows Server 2008: Network Infrastructure Configuration certification provides you with the required knowledge and skills in IP addressing and services, names resolution, file and print services network access and remote access, and monitoring network services using Windows Server 2008.
The Windows Server 2008: Application Infrastructure Configuration certification provides you with the required knowledge and skills in Windows deployment services, terminal services, web services, and media services using Windows Server 2008.
The Windows Server 2003 Hosted Environments ― Configuration and Management certification validates skills in planning a hosted environment, deploying a core hosting infrastructure, and configuring Internet Information Server (IIS) using Windows Server 2003.
