Overview

Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) certification is an advanced level certification geared for professionals who design and develop business solutions with Microsoft development tools, technologies, platforms, and the Windows DNA architecture. The credential covers job tasks ranging from analysing business requirements to maintaining solutions. Candidates may choose to take courses along either the Visual Basic .NET or the Visual C# .NET tracks. This certification focuses on developers using the .NET Framework 1.0 and 1.1. If you are using.NET framework 2.0 / 3.5 or Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, you should consider the MCTS .NET and MCPD certifications.
