Overview

The Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) on Microsoft .NET credential is appropriate for professionals who use Microsoft technologies to develop and maintain applications using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and Web services on the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.0 and Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1. In this course you will learn to develop, test, deploy, and maintain department-level applications, components, Web or desktop clients, or database and network services using Microsoft tools and technologies. Achieving the MCAD credential can be a step toward earning the MCSD credential for advanced developers. If you are using.NET framework 2.0 / 3.5 or Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, you should consider the MCTS .NET and MCPD certifications.
