Junior Level Linux Professional (LPIC-1)

Overview

The Junior Level Linux Professional (LPIC-1), offered by the Linux Professional Institute, is a vendor-neutral certification aimed at Linux system administrators. It is designed to be distribution neutral, following the Linux Standard Base and other relevant standards and conventions. The certification covers basic knowledge for Linux system administration. This course will provide you with the skills required to work at the Linux command line, perform easy maintenance tasks (help out users, add users to a larger system, backup & restore, shutdown & reboot), and install and configure a workstation and connect it to a LAN, or a stand-alone PC via modem to the Internet.

To help prepare for the exams, we provide you with all the required resources including the online self-paced courses, including lab exercises, and an online reference library of eBooks and how-to articles.
