CompTIA A+ (2009 Objectives)

Overview

The CompTIA A+ certification is an internationally recognised, vendor-neutral certification that teaches the basic knowledge and skills of an entry-level service support professional in the computer industry. You will learn the essential skills and information needed to install, upgrade, repair, configure, troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance and optimise basic pc hardware and operating systems. The exams cover a broad range of hardware, software, security and safety topics, and may be used as part of an elective, together with either the Network+ or Server+, to qualify for Microsoft’s MCSA certification.

The latest version of the CompTIA A+ is the CompTIA A+ 2009 Edition. You are required to pass 2 exams, the Essentials exam and the Practical Application exam.

To help prepare for the exams, we provide you with all the required resources including the online self-paced courses, access to an Exam Coach to help plan your study and answer course related questions, access to live servers to practice your skills, and an online reference library of eBooks and how-to articles.
